The Twisted Ring.

I bought this little kit that came with beads, wire, and a small book to show you how to make all these beautiful rings. That was like eight years ago.....i think. So i'm pretty sure they don't sell that kit anymore so i thought i would share one of the many ideas on how to make a ring- The Twisted Ring.

Here's what you'll need:

• small beads
  



• wire
  



• scissors
  



• something to measure with(optoinal)

The Yearly Book update.

I found this great tutorial on Elise's blog! Basically, it's a plastic sheet of any sort sewn together into little squares that save all these wonderful photos! These are all pictures of favorite cutouts that I was able to find. Check it out:

American Eagle inspiration.

I was on the American Eagle Outfitters website when i found this super nice bracelet:

isn't it gorgeous?! so then I got this really good idea of creating my own, but making it into a thinner bracelet. I used some sort of rope like cord that is similar to the one displayed in the bracelet above. I made two seperate strands with beads. Then I just weaved it together (Take one strand and tuck it below the next, then over the other strand, then under, and so on...) Here's how it came out (after lots of trial and error ):

The bracelet doesn't look exactly the same as the AE one,but it still came out nice!

My Latest Creation

I love making pinwheels out of paper!It's so fun, once I started making them I couldn't stop;) Take a look at this card that I made......Guess what it has: PINWHEELS!

And Here's How YOu Make Your Pinwheels!

First, YOu cut out a square(it doesn't matter what the size is, as long as it's a square;) Fold it two times diagonally in half until you have a cross shape in the square.

Then, From each corner cut a line all the way close to the center(but not tooo close)

It should look something like this:

Next, you bring each corner towards the center of the square and it should look like the picture above . Apply some glue( use a hot glue gun: it works best;) to each corner and stick it to the middle of the square.

After you are finished gluing, You can add a button, brad, or anything that comes to mind.
